2010 Guides – Information & Advertising Opportunities – Oct 7, 2009

Tourism Victoria and Page One Publishing Inc., the publisher of our 2010 Vacation Guide, have begun production and ad sales for the guide. For annual circulation, distribution outlets and display advertising costs please click here.

All member contact information required for your Vacation Guide listing will be taken directly from tourismvictoria.com. All pertinent information including: Member Name, Location Address, Telephone Number, Fax Number, Toll-free Number and Website Address will be used. If you do not have a website address your email address will be used.

It is the sole responsibility of the member to ensure that the information detailed on your member listing is accurate. Using the Business Directory, please take a moment to thoroughly review your member listing. All changes to be made to your member listing can be forwarded to Member Services Manager, Kelly Both or Member Services Coordinator, Erin Gilmore or via fax at 250-361-9733.

In addition to your complimentary listing in Tourism Victoria’s 2010 Official Vacation Guide, you have the opportunity to purchase a member exclusive Enhanced Listing that will highlight your company’s services and products to potential customers.

Increase your exposure and promote your business to recognized visitor markets world-wide.

Tourism Victoria’s Virtual Vacation Guide is loaded on tourismvictoria.com and receives over 8,000 views per month. When you purchase an enhanced listing, your virtual guide listing will include a clickable link to your website! 225,000 copies of the Official Vacation Planner will be printed.

Virtualized 2009 Vacation Guide – Apr 22, 2009

Tourism Victoria is doing its part to reduce our environmental footprint. Among our many initiatives in the virtualized 2009 Victoria Vacation Guide. Since its launch on March 24, 2009 the online guide has received an astounding 7,200 views! If we continue at this pace, we will hit a record 80,000 views in 2009 – a 128% increase compared to 2008 (35,000 views in 2008). Just think how much paper we saved!

The 2009 Victoria Vacation Guide has arrived, and its gone green!

We are pleased to announce Tourism Victoria’s 2009 Victoria Vacation Guide is printed on carbon-neutral paper manufactured on Vancouver Island. The guide, published annually by Page One Publishing, is printed on Port Alberni’s Catalyst Paper by Teldon Print Media.
 
The Victoria Vacation Guide serves as both a pre-arrival lure piece for the short and long-haul tourism market, as well as the main post-arrival guide distributed at Tourism Victoria’s Inner Harbour Visitor Centre, one of the busiest visitor centres in Canada. At 225,000 copies, it is one of the largest circulation guides on Vancouver Island.
Copies of the 2009 guide are available through Tourism Victoria’s Visitor Centre at 812 Wharf Street.
