Tourism Victoria’s Cooperative Marketing Campaign has been named the Multi-Faceted Advertising Campaign of 2009 at the Tourism Vancouver Island (TVI) Industry Awards. Announced last night at the 46th Annual TVI Conference and Annual General Meeting this award recognizes a business or organization for its innovative use of various forms of advertising mediums in a specific and targeted campaign that was successful in attracting travelling consumers to their business or organization and the Vancouver Island Region.
The Cooperative Marketing Campaign is a unique, partnership-based destination marketing initiative in which Tourism Victoria invited members to buy-in to a layered marketing program featuring special limited time packaged offers based on three different seasons.
