The Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre is NOW OPEN!

Come out and enjoy the regions newest attraction – an aquarium and marine education centre focused on the amazing ecosystem of the Salish Sea.
Take a ride in the Deep Sea Elevator, take a peak at the Gallery of Drifters, and get up close and personal with a sea urchin! And much much more…

The centre is offering summer programs geared towards kids age 9-12 and 13-16 year olds as an introduction to marine life in the Gulf Islands area.

Ocean Discovery Days Survey – May 20, 2009

The new Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre is organizing an Ocean Discovery Days series of events and would like Tourism Victoria’s memberships input. The events are an ocean-focused peninsula-wide community celebration happening this year from June 4, 2009 to July 4.
